You must either have a physical location where you welcome customers (such as a store or office) or operate as a business that visits customers at their locations (a "Service Area Business"—for example, a plumber or a food delivery service). If you run a purely online store with no physical presence, Local SEO is not for you.

Direct deletion is only possible if the review violates Google’s policies (e.g., hate speech, fake profile, spam). In other cases, our strategy is to "bury" the negative review under a wave of positive ones and respond professionally, demonstrating to other customers that you care.

In local search, proximity to the searcher and the authority of the Google profile are often more important than the website. Even without a strong website, if the Maps profile is perfectly optimized and has many reviews, it will gain rankings.
